I’m Seán, a compassionate and committed psychotherapist with a passion for fostering personal growth and healing. I believe in building strong, empathetic connections with my clients, creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can openly express themselves. I work with individuals and couples aged 18 years and older, providing therapy to clients from all backgrounds experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, suicide ideation, trauma, childhood trauma, sexual violence, and GSRD (Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity).

My approach is rooted in the belief that every client’s journey is unique, and therapy should be tailored to meet their specific needs. I use an integrative approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic models to provide the best possible support for each individual client. These include Client-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Behavioural Therapies. As a trauma-informed therapist, I recognise the profound impact that trauma can have on a person’s emotional, psychological, and physical well-being. I create a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace.

I am deeply committed to providing affirming and inclusive therapy to everyone. I advocate for the diverse experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community and offer a safe, understanding space for exploring identity, relationships, challenges, and personal growth.

Recognising the unique experiences of neurodivergent individuals, I provide focused support that honours both their strengths and challenges.

Finding the right therapist is an important step in your healing and growth journey. A strong therapeutic connection is built on trust, understanding, and a sense of safety. That’s why I believe it’s essential to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident in choosing the right therapist to support you. To help with this, I offer a free 15-minute call where we can discuss your needs, answer any questions, and explore whether we’re the right fit to work together. Your journey matters, and finding the right support can make all the difference.

I am a pre-accredited psychotherapist with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). Committed to upholding ethical standards, I attend regular supervision to support my own professional development and enrich my practice. I adhere to the code of ethics outlined by the IACP.
